Tiny Desk Concerts

Tiny Desk, Massive Cultural Impact, Cool Merch

We know you have a favorite Tiny Desk Concert. We’d tell you ours, but the answer is usually something like, “that one that just came out.” TBH, they’re all so good. *One several-hour Tiny Desk Concert binge later…* Merch! Right, Tiny Desk merch. NPR was looking to see how the Tiny Desk brand could be expressed through merchandise so fans could engage in new, forward-thinking, and FUN ways.

It’s All About the (Tiny) Desk

Our concept focused on the “venue” of the illustrious desk of Bob Boilen, creator of Tiny Desk Concerts. Because after all—isn’t the location what makes these concerts so fun? What can a musician do in this space? How can they do something different among the static backdrop of books, records, and tchotchkes? With stark black-and-white illustrations, we paid tribute to the iconic tiny desk itself. Center stage sits a lone, neon pink microphone, paying homage to the revolving door of unique voices who have graced the space and shared their sound.
