The Maryland Patient Safety Center (MPSC) is a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to preventing avoidable harm in healthcare by convening providers, patients, and families across the care continuum. In response to Senate Bill 700, MPSC partnered with Mission to lead a statewide awareness campaign addressing the growing threat of violence against healthcare workers.

Mission was tasked with developing a full-scale campaign—from messaging and design to strategy and execution—to humanize healthcare workers, foster public empathy, and support a cultural shift toward safer, more respectful care environments. After finding healthcare workers from across the continuum of care, we held a shoot, allowing them to share their experiences with violence in the workplace and learned more about who they are. As it turns out, they’re just like us.
