Hopkins Student Center Opening
The Future Hub of Campus Life
Big things are happening at Johns Hopkins University. A brand-new, state-of-the-art student center is on the way, complete with common areas, a food hall, theater, and more. After 148 years, the campus is finally getting a dedicated space where students can socialize, connect, and unwind—set to open in Fall 2025. With everyone curious about the project, Development & Alumni Relations and Student Affairs asked us to design a microsite and pitch book to keep the community in the loop. The results not only captured the spirit of the building but also helped create excitement for what’s coming.

At the Center of Everything
The microsite kicks off with an interactive mosaic that mirrors the student center’s unique roof design, featuring video clips of students paired with words like “Engage,” “Create,” and “Recharge.” Architectural renderings and a video from Bjarke Ingels Group bring the building to life, while the rest of the site offers details about the center’s spaces, the construction timeline, and how to get involved. The whole vibe is inclusive and engaging, reflecting the student center’s mission: “Designed for students, open to all.”

The 50-page pitch book goes even deeper, offering a full overview of the project with stunning architectural renderings from BIG. It’s packed with information for parents and alumni about how they can sponsor specific spaces, and includes sections on the center’s vision, innovative features, and testimonials. With its luxurious design and additional materials tucked into pocket folders, the pitch book isn’t just informative—it’s a keepsake that inspires support and drives engagement.
