Brand Film

Now Showing: Loyola Maryland

From the start, we knew we didn’t want to make a standard brand video. We wanted to make something cinematic and emotionally grounded that could live well beyond an ad buy or social post. So we set out to make a brand film that could communicate the feelings uniquely associated with the Loyola Maryland experience. For Loyola, that meant pairing 200-years of heritage, identity, academics, and more with a brand new sense of confidence. The film was conceived as a declaration: Your time at Loyola Maryland will inspire you to explore, take action, and make a difference in ways that matter. Whatever “more” means to you, we’ll help you find it.

Rather than cataloging programs or facilities, the film captures movement, possibility, connection, and personal transformation, and the idea that Loyola doesn’t simply prepare students for what comes next; it challenges and inspires them to become more than they imagined.

Loyola for Reel

The script was crafted to carry the emotion of the Moved To Be More campaign and the visuals brought the refreshed brand identity to life on screen. The visual approach was grounded in the campus itself—prioritizing natural light and leaning into the arboretum synonymous with Loyola’s campus. The goal was to make every setting, even a science lab or a professor’s office, feel unmistakably like the place. Real students, real spaces, real energy. The real Loyola. The film launched the campaign to the world and anchored every high-visibility placement that followed, from Patriot League broadcasts to the Loyola website and prospective student landing page.

The main thing I kept coming back to as an alum was the emotional connection people have to this place. Not every school can say that. We wanted to find a way to shoot Loyola that conveyed the emotion over everything else.
