MD TWO FIFTY Website

Hey Maryland, Come Share Your Story

In 2026, we’re commemorating America’s 250th birthday, Maryland style. Building on the brand identity we developed in partnership with the Maryland 250 Commission, we created a robust website that brought all of the who, what, when, where, and why to one central hub. Discover service opportunities, participate in civic life, attend events, or plan a statewide tour of historic places—all on one website.

A Fully Custom Web Experience

An interactive (and accessible) map of Maryland allows visitors to find special events and places by county and interest. A geolocation feature provides points of interest based on your location. With this commemoration being rooted in the stories of Marylanders, you’ll find plenty of compelling and lesser known stories from our great state’s past and present. Users can even submit their own stories for inclusion. Beyond finding events and places and reading stories from the past, visitors can discover service opportunities and ways to participate in civic life all on one interactive website.
