Highlighting Strength & Grace in Artistic Swimming
When USA Synchronized Swimming rebranded as USA Artistic Swimming, they sought to emphasize the evolution of their sport from water ballet to a showcase of true athleticism and artistry. The organization wanted to announce this change in a way that would inspire both current athletes and newcomers. Mission was tasked with creating a campaign that would capture the strength, precision, and grace of the sport while reflecting its new identity on the international stage.

Our “We Move As One” campaign highlighted the unity and skill of Team USA athletes. Using a mix of competition footage, training clips, and team shots, we produced a seamless video that intentionally focused on group dynamics. Rotoscoping techniques emphasized key qualities like “strength,” “precision,” and “grace,” allowing these words to move with the athletes in a 3D effect. The result was a video that reinforced the manifesto while showcasing the artistic and athletic evolution of the sport. The campaign’s music was equally intentional, with water-like sounds complementing the manifesto’s reading to redefine what Artistic Swimming is today. This multimedia approach resonated with both athletes and new fans, positioning USA Artistic Swimming as a modern, powerful, and artistic sport.
